Thanks to this module, your users have direct access to your training proposal, and they can browse through the available courses and carry out searches using key words.

With the Inser Intranet training solutions, you select the information accessible by your users from the options proposed. As a result you can authorise your employees to view their personal training plan on any given date: i.e. training courses that are on hold, accepted, refused, postponed etc.
Each manager can also access the same information for each of the members of staff that he is responsible for.
Similarly, you can authorise access on a read-only basis to the training sessions that you have planned with or without creating a restriction to the courses that have been accepted in the training plan.

Entering training needs and monitoring the training plan
Listing one's training needs becomes a very rapid and simple process thanks to the Inser Intranet Training solutions. Each employee can express his training needs either on the basis of the training proposal or formulated from his own ideas. These requests can then be validated and assessed by his superior before being made available to the training department for processing. The employee can at any moment view the status of his requests. You can also de-centralise this data to each department.
Each manager has the possibility of viewing and analysing all the requests against financial costs. When the training plan is underway, he also has access to a progress report and can compare the committed expenses against his budget.
Pre-registration to sessions
For all the training courses accepted, your employees can outline their preferred training periods. They can also join the waiting list for the sessions organised by the training department.
With this option therefore, you immediately benefit from the availability of your trainees so that organising your different sessions is even faster.

With the Inser Intranet Training solutions, management of trainee assessments following the training course is really easy. Using their own work-station (or a communal terminal) trainees simply enter their assessments themselves. The training department can then analyse and use the different data. Thanks to the warnings, you even have the possibility of reminding your trainees to input their assessments.
Technology
The Inser Intranet Training solutions, based on the Microsoft Web IIS server, have been designed on the basis of the light Web Client Server approach. The client terminals are general-purpose systems, equipped with the Internet Explorer 4.x or Netscape Navigator 4.x browser at minimum. No specific browser component is installed on the client terminals. Thanks to this technology, usage and maintenance is very easy, whatever the type of terminal used by your clients.
The Inser Intranet Training solutions can be combined with the Inser Training, Inser Centre and Inser Skills software packages, with a data base server of type Access, Oracle or SQL Server depending on the software package.
The architecture proposed enables different topologies to be envisaged: i.e. installation on a single server or spread across several servers.
